Carlsbad

We went to Carlsbad over the 4th of July Weekend. We loved getting away but hated that it was cold. It was in the 60's and our kids literally had goosebumps and their teeth were chattering in the pool. Bummer! We want to go back- when it's toasty outside and we can enjoy the pool and beach.

We still braved the pool and our kids loved it. Sophie is a little daredevil and has no fear. She was jumping off the side to Scott and kept trying to "swim" away from me. Brent had a ball too and the entire little trip was worth seeing the huge smile plastered on his face!





It was misting and about 2 seconds after this picture, Brent said "Wanna go home. It's cold outside." He was NOT a fan! He's such a little California boy already. Anything below 75 degrees is "Cold"...
