A few random pictures.. Brent and Sophie had trips to the dentist. No cavities for either of them! Brent's dentist mentioned that he needed spacers next year in preparation for braces. Whaaaaatttt?! He's SIX. That dentist needs to simmer down. We took Brent to an office that has iPads in the waiting room and TV's on the ceiling. The dentist also brings her dog to work to sit in the kids' laps to help reduce anxiety. The poor dog looked like it wanted to shoot itself. :) We were pretty impressed but when called around to other offices, we realized we were paying WAY too much. I believe Scott's exact words were: "We are going to a new dentist. For the price we were paying at the old one, we can buy the kids their own iPads to take to the new dental office!"
So Sophie went to our new dentist (who we love and was in our old ward). No dog in the lap, no iPads, no TV on the ceiling, but wonderful. :) California requires dental checkups to enter school so the dentist signed off her dental form and she is officially ready for kindergarten. Blows my mind.
A few months ago we went to the beach over spring break. We didn't let a cool, cloudy day stop us! The kids had fun with their cousins.
